When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. This information is stored securely in our database to create your profile.

User-Generated Content

Reviews, tips, and favorites you submit are stored in our database and associated with your user account.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage data such as which locations are viewed and general app interaction patterns. This data is used to improve the App.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication hosting
  • Google Sign-In: Authentication provider
  • Apple Sign-In: Authentication provider
  • Open-Meteo: Weather data (no personal data shared)
  • Stormglass: Marine conditions data (no personal data shared)

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and row-level security policies to protect your data.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Export your data

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or email.
